Vela is South Africa's marketplace for booking personalized videos, live video calls, premium DMs and event appearances from your favourite local musicians, athletes, comedians, actors and influencers.

Browse Discover, open a creator's profile, choose a service (video shoutout, live call, appearance or premium DM), fill in the brief and pay securely in ZAR via Paystack. You'll be notified the moment your booking is accepted or delivered.

Most creators deliver within 48 hours, with a hard cap of 7 days. If a creator declines or misses the deadline, you're automatically refunded in full.

All major South African credit and debit cards, plus EFT and Apple/Google Pay where supported by Paystack. Payment is taken upfront and held until your booking is confirmed.

Yes. If your booking is declined or expires undelivered, the full amount is refunded to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Once you've accepted a delivery, all sales are final.

Vela keeps a 15% platform fee on completed bookings. The remaining 85% is held for a 3-day delivery confirmation window and then paid out to the creator's verified bank account via Paystack Transfers.

Yes. Vela is POPIA-compliant, payment card data is handled entirely by Paystack (PCI DSS Level 1), and we never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

Vela deliveries are for personal use only. For commercial or brand campaigns, contact the creator directly to arrange a separate licence.
